Following a successful Pilot scheme, where 17 new standardised GP and PCN websites were launched in South West England, a further 48 have been funded by NHS South West to adopt and onboard GP Online as part of ‘Phase 1’.
Additional funding is available for further Phase 1 sites, meaning that if your surgery is based in the South West, you too could benefit from a brand-new GP website for free*. Eligibility criteria and conditions for website funding
Your surgery or PCN is based in one of the following regions:
- Bath, Swindon and Wiltshire
- Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG)
- Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly
- Devon
- Dorset
- Gloucestershire
- Somerset
Eligibility criteria
- Your current website provider contract expires within 12 months
- Your current website has existing Google Analytics data
- You can provide up to 12 months of telephony data prior to launch for the purposes of benchmarking
Conditions for funding
- You commit to providing feedback on your new website solution, 3 months after launch
- You provide appropriate resource to support onboarding, training and site acceptance (timing of onboarding and training can be arranged to suit availability)
- You continue to update and populate your new website with relevant, accessible content on a regular basis post-launch
- You adopt a new, NHS domain (website address), such as www.yoursurgery.nhs.uk
- You will declare any potential conflicts of interest
